The CLASSIC formula has reduced baking soda (enough to be effective, not so much that it is irritating or disrupts the body's pH). Dietary magnesium wards off the stinky stress-sweats, kaolin clay for absorption, arrowroot to stay dry and a super savvy blend of essential oils that work well with a body's chemistry. Plus, shea, olive oil, calendula oil, local beeswax and other quality ingredients that just make for some good skincare.

If you are new to natural deodorant, you may have a transition period, but most bodies will adjust within a week. You may also need to apply 2x a day or so.

The nuanced and layered scents are very, very well thought out. (Also, check out the vegan selection for different scent profiles if you like the CLASSIC formula...only difference is no beeswax!)

Different scent profiles evoke different moods, so you get to choose which story you tell. Choose whichever draws you in... that's a good sign it's a good scent match for you.

Sweet fresh raspberries with a hint of herbaceousness. Clean, simple and not over-powering.

Pleasantly sweet but with depth. Rich, jammy berries, warm vanilla and a hint of citrus.

Bonnie n' Clyde
The "unscented" one. To me the scent is VERY SUBTLE, but Routine deodorants all have a "base" scent; it's a grounded earthy-sweetness from the cacao butter, beeswax (in the non-vegan version) and coconut oil, a little nuttiness from the shea and an herbaceous top-note because of the rosemary extract and calendula-infused olive oil.
