A 1980s acrylic on paper painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Rock, this painting depicts an abstracted Western landscape in warm golds, browns, and greens. Unframed, the painting is signed to the lower right and titled to the lower left.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
