The moose and the rose are symbols of tradition for me. The floating roses on the Atlantic surrounding the moose is an imaginary scene. Its dreamlike essence adds a sense of poignancy for me.

I have decided to put it on sale because I hope it will warm someone's home or cottage. It was a rug I had in my imagination, from a story of my childhood. It is time for it t go to someone else's place. It 's a big rug, 45 by 46" for a  very good price.

Artists Bio
I hook nearly everyday. My goal is to live simply, and make hooked rugs that are unmistakably art. I am the author eight books, and had my first solo exhibit in 1999 and I continue to exhibit my work, write and run my gallery and studio in Amherst, Nova Scotia. My work is in private and public collections around the world.
