When you listen to the lyrics in “Waiting for the Flood” on their 1987 release Earth, Sun, and Moon, you’ll hear the lyric “searching for the purest blue.” This line reappears in its own right as a song on their 1989 eponymous LP. This reincarnation of the lyric as a song is diffusive, sometimes sharp, and all the while mellifluous. It’s how I would also describe a true sandalwood from the Mysore district of Karnataka in India. If you truly love the scent of sandalwood, this fragrance will not disappoint.
